I had an incredible stay at this charming place. the hosts, Chamo and his wife, were amazing and even gave us a free room upgrade. the atmosphere was fantastic, with a great vibe among fellow travelers. I loved the proximity to a local market, making it easy to explore and experience the local culture. the accommodation was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. Chamo went above and beyond by helping us retrieve a lost phone, not once but twice. We felt like we were welcomed as friends and family, making it truly feel like a home away from home. I would definitely return to visit Chamo and his family again.
No negatives from this place.

We had an amazing stay at Chamo's Hostel in Arequipa! After a long bus ride, Anita and Chamo warmly welcomed us and made us feel at home. Anita provided great tips on local attractions and food options. The hostel had a cozy homestay vibe and a lovely terrace where we could relax with a cup of tea or coffee and share travel stories with other guests. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location was convenient, within walking distance of the historic center, and the nearby local market was a hidden gem.

I had a wonderful experience staying at La Casa De Chamo. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I felt right at home. The spacious accommodations allowed me to cook my own meals and do laundry on the sunny terrace. As a motorbike enthusiast, I was thrilled to find a great garage for my bike, and the owner, who is also a motorbiker, was very welcoming. To top it off, the location offered beautiful views of the snowy mountains from the roof terrace. it was excellent value for the price and I would highly recommend it.
Could not be improved in any way. 🔝

The rooftop one bedroom loft was awesome, with comfortable beds and great views. Chamo's hospitality was the highlight, taking us on a tour of the nearby market and helping us with our shopping. the full fridge in the open kitchen was a bonus.
Felt very relaxed, no complaints.
